About the Business
J's BIG TCG was founded after one of the many long weekend tournaments every wrestling family knows all too well. My youngest son, Keo (kay-oh), was doing what every 9-year-old does at a major wrestling tournament. He was running around the venue with friends and nowhere to be found. I tried movies on the phone, hammocks for naps, and even Bluetooth headphones to keep him in a 20-foot radius. However, his wild spirit refused to be contained. I realized that I wanted him to stay near me, but also, I wanted him to stay focused on the sport.
And just like that, the J's BIG TCG seed was planted. Combining my love for trading card games, wrestling, and the entrepreneurial spirit, I began to really study and analyze the sport of wrestling. J's BIG TCG practically grew up overnight and before long it was a teenager ready to get out of the house and make its mark on the world. Now, into its adulthood, J's BIG TCG is a perfect reflection of the fast-paced sport we all love so deeply.
Thank you for sharing my dream and making J's BIG TCG a reality.
This Wrestling Season, Go BIG.
About Me
I started my wrestling career in 7th grade. I was an undefeated middle schooler, and it was with confidence that I lost my very first high school match, by pin. That loss fueled my competitive spirit, and I became the Team Captain my sophomore year. I went on to be the first All-State Wrestler for my high school and I like to think that I set the tone for a series of remarkable years and athletes to follow. I wrestled my freshman year of college at Wayland Baptist University, and I got burnt out from being an athlete since I was eight years old. My sophomore year of college I moved my future wife and daughter to Stillwater, Oklahoma and I attended Oklahoma State University. College debt took its toll and school was put on hold for several years as my family grew and responsibilities took precedent. For several years, I dutifully coached my children through t-ball, gymnastics, karate, and football, but my passion was always wrestling. When my youngest son began to compete, I started to help coach the littles from the local club. A few years later, I became a director for another amazing club, and now, I look forward to many more years of coaching and service to this sport and the wrestling community.
I hope you enjoy my game.
A Special Thanks
To my wife, Tiffany. You have been a pillar of support and strength to this family from day one. Your countless hours and devotion to get our children from one practice or event to another has not gone unnoticed. The success of this family, myself, this business, and our children is in no small part owed to your sacrifice as a devoted wife and mother. I would not be the husband, father, man, or business owner I am today without you. Thank you for everything you have done and everything you will continue to do for us all. I love you shawty.
